GigHacks starts Friday at 5 pm

We are looking forward to a fun event at GigHacks this weekend! Reminder on the details:

Location: DC74 Data Centers 3101 International Airport Dr. Charlote 28208

Friday: 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm (welcome, overview of the event, speaker from the City of Charlotte, introduction of participants, and forming of teams and projects)

Saturday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm (working time for the teams)

Sunday: noon – 2 pm (working time for the teams)

2:00 – 3:30 pm Charlotte teams present to a panel of judges, and a local winner is selected

4:00 – 5:00 pm Each city winner presents on a national video conference call (event concludes at 5 pm)

Participants: 30 people are currently registered to participate in Charlotte

We have a switch for hardwire Ethernet connections, a couple of Gigabit wi-fi routers, and six servers for participants to use for their applications. Access details will be provided at the event.
